Happy Lunar New Year, fellow Chinese people! And Happy Valentine's Day, to all the couples out there!

My (non-existent) Lunar New Year one-week-break is finally a little less stressful after finally finishing the résumé website assignment a few hours ago in time for our usual 'First Day of Chinese New Year' dinner. Although... there still isn't much of a break because I still need to start on the editing for my Broadcast Journalism module's assignment, and I'll be working this coming Wednesday and Sunday (oh, the things a poor student do for money =\).

OH OH OH. HAPPY BIRTHDAY S.LAN!!! I'm sorry schoolwork kept me away from celebrating your birthday with you, but I'll make it up to you! (Somehow...)

(WAHAHA. Now it's my turn to hold your jacket hostage XD *evil laughter*)

Last night, after Jacq's birthday celebration/party, where Y.Ting and I indulged in Arthur's Epic Expression of Disbelief (from series 1, episode 3: HERE, from disparue) and my mother was still imposing the you-are-12-and-your-curfew-is-at-10p.m.-and-I-will-bloody-well-call-you-to-remind-you-of-that-to-spoil-the-celebration-mood, I finally got to watch the pilot episode of Glee (the Director's Cut version, because I'm resourceful like that, and the Internet is my best friend).

And I cried. True story.

So it's the second day of my trimester break, and the few of us met up today for lunch at Miss Clarity Cafe (no worries, I survived the sheer pink and "girliness" of the place) and games at The Mind Cafe to celebrate the end of assignments and the trimester. Or at least, that's what I thought, until halfway through the games when they brought out the cheesecakes we bought at Miss Clarity Cafe, along with candles, and started singing Happy Birthday for Y.Ting and me (her birthday is just eight days earlier than mine, but she's a year older).

Aww... XD
