Because at work today, I realised that the tubs of ice-cream in our pantry are for us, so Sheralyn and I ended up putting off lunch for a couple of hours for the sake of rocky road. Heh.

I went to Sim Lim Tower (Square? Tower? Whatever) today to see if they have the OEM version of softwares for my MacBook. SJ (the Programme Executive for my degree course) accompanied me (Y.Ting said he's so nice to us that he's almost our School!Daddy. LOL. Are you reading this, SJ? XD), plus he was looking around for laptops.

I have thoroughly amazed myself. Where I would usually officially finished my assignments one to two hours before the exact deadline (we have to submit electronically before midnight, Australia's timezone), I finished my Audience Studies research paper FIVE hours early!
By the time I went to sleep at 4 a.m. this morning, all I had were 1300 words. I did another 1700 words today! Yeah, well, I had to sacrifice my sleep and wake up at 7 a.m. but! 1700 words! In one day! FIVE hours earlier than the deadline!
I amaze myself sometimes. But I am definitely not doing this again. Ugh. I felt half-dead the whole day, and I kept moaning, "Oh gods, I'm dying..." and cursing my Microsoft Word whenever it does something crazy and totally not what I had intended it to do.
And it's done! I can finally switch off my laptop tonight instead of hibernating it to keep all my files and webpages available, and I can watch my shows! Doctor Who, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, HERE I COME! Oh, and web-comics! And xkcd and... and...

Look! I have new icon! *Points*
Today, I spend my whole morning and afternoon watching The Daily Show and The Colbert Report until I was falling asleep in front of my laptop. Not that the shows were boring, but I was getting tired and my eyes kept shutting despite my efforts to survive just one more episode. I went to wash my face and got ready to get a couple hours of sleep in before dinner, when I suddenly remembered that there was an Eric/Ryan (CSI:Miami) icon that I had been procrastinating about making.
When I finished one, there were other variations appearing in my mind that I wanted to make, and there went my nap.
