Wow. It's been three weeks since I last updated my LJ. Ugh, schoolwork, the things you do to me.

That darn Media Interviews assignment. After much procrastination, I've finally joined and edited my soundbites on Saturday midnight (or would that make it technically Sunday midnight?) while my mind was half shut-down and fully annoyed at the assignment because I could only use Audacity to edit it when previously in our first trimester's Media Production module, we used Pro Tools, which was way superior and more precise than Audacity.

Ugh. Audacity sucks to the high heavens.

But the editing was all taken care of within hours (by 3 a.m.), and there was only a 200-word write-up left to do so Jay and I met up in school this morning to complete it.

This was what things should look like (ignoring that Facebook game on the iMac): me on MSWord trying to get things done-

The last tooth on my bottom left has been hurting since Sunday afternoon during work (wherein I kept wondering out loud, "Argh my tooth effing hurts D: Why? D:" to which no one made any remark whatsoever nor a single sympathetic acknowledgment. Why is it that in any group, I'm always ignored? I bet if I didn't talk for a whole day no one will notice. [/angst]) and Jay told me today it might be the wisdom tooth erupting and would hurt for about three days. So I was staring at my teeth in the mirror, yeah? And I noticed that the wisdom tooth on my bottom right has also erupted but I don't remember it being painful at all. Weird. And now my mother says it's because I've been staying up (way too) late and the 'heat' has been building up in my system so it's my gum hurting instead. I don't effing know. I just want it to stop. And I don't want to go through some excruciating surgery to remove my wisdom teeth, because OMG PAIN DO NOT WANT D: *crosses fingers and hope I didn't just jinx myself*

In other news, I bumped into one of my lecturers from the previous trimester (who has this weird dictatorship over which lecturers she gets to "recommend" and by proxy our whole degree course) on my way to PR project meeting and she said I've improved in said trimester. Unexpected compliment was unexpected! If only she knew how many of my assignments were completed at the last minute. And that wasn't even just an idiom.

Last night, after Jacq's birthday celebration/party, where Y.Ting and I indulged in Arthur's Epic Expression of Disbelief (from series 1, episode 3: HERE, from disparue) and my mother was still imposing the you-are-12-and-your-curfew-is-at-10p.m.-and-I-will-bloody-well-call-you-to-remind-you-of-that-to-spoil-the-celebration-mood, I finally got to watch the pilot episode of Glee (the Director's Cut version, because I'm resourceful like that, and the Internet is my best friend).

And I cried. True story.

Because I'm sick of people mispronouncing my Mandarin name (that even the Chinese have problem pronouncing - WTH EPIC MOTHER TONGUE FAIL!). Because I like the way it's spelt and the way it looked, with the arrangement of 'A's and the 'L' and 'Y' and 'S's. Bonus? I like that it can be pronounced perfectly in Japanese.

Also, I am typing all this out on the bus on my way to school (ugh, afternoon class. I prefer having too-early classes because at least I'll have the rest of the day all to myself to waste away. But I suppose it lets me rest on Tuesday mornings in case I work Monday shifts). Have I mentioned that I love it that Albus doesn't fall apart when used anywhere else other than on my desk, the way my old Compaq would have? Oh, wait, it was already falling apart.

In other news, I am SO PSYCHED for Merlin series 2. I don't care if 19 September isn't the confirmed broadcast date - I'm sure I'll be too busy to worry about it - but I'll be happy as long as I get to watch it sometime this month. Goodness knows it'll be months before Hallmark channel/cable here starts showing it locally. So. Yay for Internet!

Merlin's eyes at 0:07! *DIES* Merlin using magic! *DIES* ARTHUR/BRADLEY!!! *TRIPLE DIES* And, UGH ARTHUR/GWEN D: *sputters in shock* Was not expecting it despite all the talk about it from the producers and the actors during pre-series 2 interviews. But, meh. Am going to ignore it (Arthur/Merlin OTP!!!) If stupidly blind Gwack viewers can ignore canon-Jack/Ianto in Torchwood (sorry, people, but that's what you are and that's the truth, and I will not apologise for my remark. She's married, for goodness' sake! Pregnant with Rhys's baby already, even!), I can surely ignore legend-and-series-canon-Arthur/Guinevere for the sake of my ship and its RPS counterpart.
