Most of it is a solid colour.
I like the splash of colour.
Large solid colour means I can see all my icons (am unorganised).
I was in a dark-colour mood.
I still can't figure out what that colourful abstract figure is.

Seriously. Singapore is only this small. Why do you even need 9 friggin' hours to deliver ONE package?! OMG logistics route planning EPIC FAIL! I'm sure even I can plan a better delivery route than TNT!

Now I remember, back when I worked at Cargill after-polytechnic-graduation-before-university, why I hated TNT so much. I was always deathly afraid that the shipper would send me shipping documents with TNT because it takes FOREVER to get to me and by the time I have it, I only have mere minutes to check it through, get invoices printed and scanned, signature-approved (all Hell will break loose if the financial controllers weren't around. Oh, the running up and down the building to find someone of equal authority to sign the documents for me), packed, and sent to the mail room for delivery to the customer. Ugh.

I was waiting the whole day for the doorbell to ring and for my WHITE MACBOOK to come. WTH, TNT?!

YES, I AM NOW OFFICIALLY PART OF THE APPLE CLAN! The exact community of people who intimidates me with their extreme fangeekiness about all things Apple.

OMG even the box is so white to the extent that I was afraid of touching it and dirtying the box. The BOX. I am FAIL. (I kept washing my hands before each time I handled the MacBook. LOL!)

Photos to come soon (kind of weird, the number of people asking me to take photos of my official induction into the Apple world. Heh), when I get my hands on Mac's version of Photoshop. And I'm currently busy with converting my songs to MP3 format. I had no idea I had so many Mandarin songs in WMA format. Ho hum.

Now all I need is The Sims 3 and life (as of this moment) will be complete.

(Of course, my mother wouldn't let things go without some level of drama. But you know what, you pathetic shrewd little thing, nothing you say or do today can ruin my mood because OH, HELLO THERE, PRETTY WHITE MACBOOK~ *Coos*)

Okay. you know that I haven't got mine yet... the apple store in town is obviously NOT desperate for customers. Their opening hours are irratic at most... Tuesday the new delivey (with my supposed Macbook Pro) arrive, but the man from the store hadn't got round to opening it (wtf ... doesn't he know I want it like right NOW!).

Then yesterday, I went by after work and stood in front of closed doors. A hand-written note on the door saying "we are closed today" (?!?!) Weather was nice yesterday, I guess he was off on the campground again (like last Saturday when his customers had to phone him to get him to open up the store... *arghhhhhhh*

It's all quite bizzar... I'm giving him a phone call later to find out if my notebook is there now

Ugh. That's really horrible. The staff who took my order on the phone told me it would arrive in 3 days, so they're responsible for that (Singaporeans love to complain, and we'd have a field day if they went back on their word). I thought Apple stores aren't that... random about their opening times *mind boggles* this is a huge corporation we're talking about there. Weird.

It was angry angry day at first but it became super happy day LALALA.

My Sims 3 broke after I updated it. Apparently I'm not supposed to, 'cos mine's not the "real" version (shhh!!)

I'm ok with bright wallpapers. As long as it's not too "messy". I like to have empty spaces on it. Easier to see my icons too.
