Remind me why I have a curfew

わたしはじゅうにさいのこどもじゃない!
Watashi wa jyuuni sai no kodomo janai!
I'm not a twelve-year-old child!
Curfews suck. And I really couldn't feel the vibration of my mobile phone through my shorts. Accept that, and shut it. And really, taking away my phone and Internet access for the night? I HAVE SUCH IMMATURE PARENTS (and utterly uncreative ones, at that).
In other news, I finally have my red Converse jacket back. YAYNESS.
Last night, I went to Popular bookstore to finally get a new ruler (because I lost my only two rulers without even noticing it) and to meet up with Y. While waiting for him to come, I decided to check if Neil Gaiman's 'The Graveyard Book' was on the shelf so I could read a little BUT I came across something totally unexpected instead.
OMG MERLIN BOOKS!!!
COLIN MORGAN'S AND BRADLEY JAMES'S FACES ON THE BOOKS!!!
Okay, well, the reading level of the two books were more for children BUT I DIDN'T CARE. And I didn't see any of the other books in the series that were for older readers, so.
I PICKED UP 'THE MAGIC BEGINS' AND WAS SQUEEING WHILE READING AND TEXTING JAY ABOUT MY SQUEEING AND GOT HER SQUEEING ALONG WITH ME.
There was a boy about eight or nine looking for a book and Arthur's simmering kingliness must have attracted him because he tried to reach for the Quest Activity Book (which I helped get for him, because I'm a nice fangirl) but it was wrapped up so he couldn't flip through it. Then his mother came and handed him 'Potions and Poison' instead. Being an extremely helpful (and in hindsight, a somewhat creepy) fangirl, I suggested to get 'The Magic Begins' since it's the first book. While the boy flipped through the book, I asked if he watched the show and he was like, "No." and my fangirl mind went SADFACE because I thought I found a fellow fan(boy) even though we were more than a decade apart in age. No, wait, that made me sound too old for this fandom. Meh. I DON'T CARE.
Y turned up a few minutes later and was a little boggled at the book I was reading and after I explained that I LOVE THE SERIES and that THE ACTORS ARE CUTE, he gave me the 'OH, YOU FANGIRL' look. Pfft. As if you don't fanboy about other stuff.
And nope, I didn't buy the books. Although I was very tempted to buy them under the guise that they were for my sister.
(But why in the world was it written in American English? *RAGE* And why did they write Morgana with "dark eyes"? *RAGE* RAWR!!!)
