Hmm... I kinda saw ep 11 as more of a show of Arthur's character and how he could be brilliant (and is actually already beginning to be) under the arrogant arse he seemed to be at first glance. The whole 'bearing the consequences on his own rather than getting Merlin involved' was nice XD His reaction when he saw Merlin at the beach? Oh, Arthur, no use hiding, you 2 are so dating BFFs XD

I think the producers or someone-someone mentioned about the Reveal? Something about keeping the secret for a while longer. I think it's fine, since Arthur hasn't really grown out of the values and personal prejudices Uther passed on to him, especially about magic. The bonus? USTension!
